It is also crucial that we continue to work on our historical revitalization in our downtown as well as supporting our local Main Street businesses. The dedication, the time, and the heart poured into our Main Street district have not gone unnoticed. Main Street Guthrie Center is heavily involved in the community. We proudly put on events such as our thriving Farmer's Market, Fall Festival, Wine Walk, Harvest Dinner, Holiday Express, and many more activities throughout the year. We also support our local businesses with events such as Shop Small Business Saturday, Wishlist for the holidays, Grand openings, and smaller events throughout the year.
Main Street is a Nationwide, grassroots movement that blends preservation, activation, and coordination to harness the power of Character-Based Economic Growth. Main Street Guthrie Center was started because we wanted more for our town. We wanted to preserve the history that we already have and to improve what our future will be for Guthrie Center.
